Expect to see the completely redesigned 2015 Mustang at the Twin Cities Auto Show

The 2015 Mustang made its 2015 debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this past January and will certainly come to Minneapolis for the Twin Cities Auto Show. This year the Mustang celebrates 50 years and the 2015 Mustang pulls together elements of past Mustangs in a completely redesigned car. The new mustang is lower, wider, leaner and certainly meaner than the outgoing model. Be sure to check out our video below from the Detroit Auto show to learn more about Mustangs from the past, present and future.

We’re crossing our fingers that Nissan brings the Idx concept vehicles to Minneapolis

We cannot confirm it, but certainly hope that Nissan brings its knockout Idx concept vehicles to Minneapolis this March when the auto show rolls around.

We first saw the two Idx concept vehicles to the North American International Auto Show this past January and we made sure to get plenty of coverage. These concepts are tailored to both the new millennials and avid car enthusiasts alike due to the Datsun inspired designs. The IDX Freeflow is a four seater concept featuring a floating glass roof, 18-inch chrome wheels  and a denim-inspired interior.

The IDX Nismo on the other hand is much sportier due to its Brock Racing paint scheme and 1.6 turbo engine. The  alcantara interior and racing style gauge-clusters also gives the vehicle that added sportier look.

Nissan also brought out their Sports Sedan Concept which is a sneak peek at the company’s future design language. We have a sneaking suspicion that this Sports Sedan Concept will be the future direction of the Maxima. This concept is said to deliver more than 300 horsepower and we hope to see a CVT transmission driving the front wheels.

The much anticipated 2015 Cadillac Escalade to bow at Twin Cities Auto Show

We first saw the 2015 Cadillac Escalade when we visited the Detroit Auto Show earlier this winter and we must say we are impressed. We’ll spare you the words since a picture, or in this case a video, is worth thousand words.

See the new Cadillac ATS Coupe in Minneapolis this March

Cadillac is expected to bring both the new ATS Coupe and the 2015 Escalade to the 2014 Twin Cities Auto show. We first saw both are at the North Americnan International Auto Show in Detroit this past January.

The ATS coupe is the brand’s first compact two-door coupe yet and it did not disappoint. As you would expect, the ATS coupe shares the same wheelbase and platform as the ATS sedan, but with a widened track in the front and rear and an aluminum construction making it the lightest car in its segment. You could feel the excitement in the crowd as Cadillac entertained us with a youthful and upbeat reveal for this hot new coupe. Exterior changes to the ATS coupe include a wider, more aggressive looking grille, and a brand new crest! The new Cadillac crest has only been worn on one other non-production model, the El miraj concept before being unveiled on the ATS coupe today. Cadillac explained the new crest as representing the the purity of Cadillac and the new lower, leaner, meaner design. The ATS coupe is powered by an increased 2.0 liter turbocharged four or a 3.6 liter V6, available in rear wheel or all-wheel drive, as well as a 6-speed manual option. Keep your eye out for the ATS Coupe at the convention center in Minneapolis for the show.

Subaru WRX STi revealed in Detroit to appear at Twin Cities Auto Show

With the 2014 Twin Cities Auto Show right around the corner, we thought we would give you a glimpse of what’s to come at the show. Morrie’s attends all the major shows to learn about all the new models coming our way and below you can see some of the highlights from our trip to Detroit in January.

Subaru unveiled the highly anticipated 2015 Subaru WRX STi at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. This Rally bred sports sedan features a 2.5 Liter Boxer Four cylinder, producing 300 horsepower and 290 lbs/ft. of torque. Subaru promises more speed, better handling, tighter suspension and a high-performance braking system. We know our Subaru fans are just as excited as we are about this one, but sit tight, we don’t expect to see one on show floors until next year! Fortunately, we should see it in Minneapolis this upcoming March.
